You could call for a draw. If the powers voting against the draw had control of 6 or more units on the board, the draw was vetoed, otherwise the draw passed.
If no draw before 1909, there was a DIAS, unless there was a solo victory.
Those who took part in the draw scored the following:
The number of s.c. owned by the powers in the draw was added together and divided by the number of powers in the draw rounded up (medium).
Then you calculated the differences between the # of s.c. for all the powers not in the draw and the medium, and added these differences together. This was the bonus.
Say a 2-way draw 10-7 is voted. Assume the other 5 has 5, 5, 4, 3 and 0. The medium is 8,5 rounded up = 9
The differences are 4,4,5,6 and 9. 4+4+5+6+9=28
The bonus thus is 28 points.
